SHIPPING

Australian Shipping - $7.95 & FREE shipping over $100

At Salon Style we despatch and deliver your products super fast around Australia from our Adelaide facilities. We charge a flat rate of $7.95 for all orders Australia wide, plus orders over $100.00 receive FREE SHIPPING. We urge you to reach the $100.00 level with your order to take advantage of this offer.

The majority of our orders are shipped Express via airfreight. We use two freight carriers to ensure your goods arrives the fastest way possible. Over 75% of our orders arrive within 2 business days, with the majority or remaining orders arrive within 5 working days.

Please note the following exceptions which may take an additional 3-4 days to arrive depending on loction due to shipping and weight restrictions;

  • Orders containing Dangerous Goods (eg. aerosol cans).
  • Rural/regional destinations.
  • PO Boxes - we suggest shipping to a physical address.
  • Large apartment buildings - we suggest shipping to a work/business address, or specify if there is a building manager present at certain times that your parcel can be left with.
  • Large orders requiring road shipment. 

Order & Delivery Process

Orders placed before 2pm EST will be despatched the same day and go through the following stages:

  1. You will receive an email receipt of your order. Shortly after you will receive another email stating your order is now being processed by our team (Note: Depending on your email service you may need to check your Spam/Trash folder).
  2. You will receive another email later in the day letting you know your order has been shipped. If there will be a delay in despatching (usually no longer than 24-48hrs), our team will notify you of this.
  3. Upon reaching our freight carriers facilities that afternoon, you will receive tracking details to follow the progress of your parcel.
  4. We urge you to have your order shipped where someone is available to receive and sign for the goods (eg. work/business address - please incude business name and floor level if applicable). If your order is being sent to a residential address, you may choose to add in your order comments “Authority To Leave” as well as any delivery instructions (eg. leave behind pot plant). At our discretion, for security reasons our couriers may not leave some parcels at unattended premises.
  5. In the event you have not given Authority To Leave the parcel and if no one is present to sign, on occasion our couriers may decide it is not safe to leave your parcel at the premises unattended. If this occurs, a card will be left by the driver adivising your parcel is available for collection from the nearest Courier or Australia Post depot.

Shipping Insurance

 

To ensure your satisfaction, we pack and ship your items with the greatest of care. We  offer optional shipping insurance at a cost of $2.00 If you do not select shipping insurance, we will not be held responsible for any loss or damage that occurs and products will not be reshipped or replaced.

 

What does Shipping Insurance cover?

 

Lost in transit: If you order has not arrived and has been confirmed lost by our shipping company, we will replace your order.

 

Damage during transit: If an item in your order arrives damaged. We require a picture of the damaged item and will then resend the item.

 

Please note this insurance does not cover theft of parcels once dropped to your address by our drivers (we have Proof of Delivery available at request for all parcels) - if this is a concern to you, please indicate on your order comments "do not leave if no one home."

Parcel Tracking

After your order is shipped from our facilities, you will receive an email from our shipping carriers with tracking details. To follow the progess and whereabouts of your order, please follow the links in these emails. Should you not have received the tracking email by 6pm EST, please check your Spam/Trash folder as some email programs flag these emails incorrectly.

New Zealand Shipping

Order Weight Shipping Charge
Up to 2kg $15.00
Over 2kg $2 per additional 250g

Orders exceeding 2kg weight will be contacted to arrange for payment of extra shipping charges. As a guide, product sizes can roughly be converted to weight to give you an idea of your orders weight eg. 250ml bottle weighs around 250g, 500ml around 500g etc.

New Zealand orders are shipped via Australia Post Registered mail and generally take between 6-12 business days.

All New Zealand orders must select the $2.00 Shipping Insurance during the checkout process to be covered for loss or damage during transit. We are unable to ship Dangerous Goods (eg. nail polish, aerosol cans etc) to New Zealand.

International Orders

If you live outside of Australia and New Zealand and wish to place an order, we may be able to accomodate your request as long as the products are not classed as Dangerous Goods (eg. Nail polish, aerosol cans). Before placing an order you will need to contact us for a quote on shipping charges to the destination country. As we use express international couriers, minimum shipping charges for other countries start at A$22.00

Please Note: Dangerous goods (eg. nail polish, aerosol cans etc), Keune and Kevin Murphy products are unable to be shipped outside Australia.
